A.J. VEGA'S FUZZBUTTS
Sparked by the chance encounter of three girls spread across the nation over the internet, FUZZBUTTS is the product of Salt Lake City's Serena Warner (drums), northern New Jersey's A.J. Vega (guitar), and New York City's Biddy Fox (bass). Fueled by a shared love of pop, a desire to make noise, a punk attitude, and an abundance of non-carbonated soft drinks, these girls are ready to take on the world stage! After releasing their rehearsal tape, called TYPEFUCKING, on Bandcamp, they played LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! on the stage of Boston's own Westin Boston Seaport District Hotel's Grand Ballroom for Anthro New England's Animal Music Concert! on January 19th, 2025 to great success!

| Bio: | A.J. has a multi-cultural upbringing, being born in New Jersey but raised in Brazil. She gained an interest in music through virtual bands, chat rooms, and online encyclopedias. She picked up guitar as a compromise with her mother, but quickly attuned to the instrument by learning Syd Barrett songs. Her favorite musicians include The Jesus and Mary Chain, Half Japanese, Sonic Youth, Caetano Veloso, Jeffrey Lewis, and The Beatles. | Bea was introduced to dub at the age of 1 and fell irrevocably in love with bass. An enthusiast of literature, post-modern art, and internet subcultures, she is also the band's go-to visual artist. But above all, she's just a girl who loves to make art and share it with the whole wide world. Her favorite musicians include Nouns, Squarepusher, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Heccra, SoGreatandPowerful, tirestires, and Lil Ugly Mane. | Growing up in epicenter of the Mormon Corridor proved challenging for a young Serena. "Bad skin, bad eyes, gay and fatty", much like the Lou Reed song's reference to Andy Warhol, she took comfort in the arts, learning all sorts of instruments and playing in local punk bands, landing gigs with the likes of Cookie Meat and Summer 2000. Her favorite musicians include Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Say Anything, Slaughter Beach Dog, and Sum 41. |
